CAPELTIC coffee is 100% Arabica, made with a careful blend of Typica, Bourbon, and Mundo Novo coffee varieties. This particular mixture displays undertones of chocolate, caramel, floral, and moderate citrus, and it is available in 1lb. or 1kg. presentations. The Tzeltal people in the northern jungle of Chiapas have built a successful business producing this delicious fair trade product by practicing sustainable agriculture in their traditional territory.

In the field, CAPELTIC coffee is grown organically, so no agrochemicals are used. In their place, this traditional shade-grown coffee is nurtured following the principles of agroecology. This ensures a great biodiversity in our coffee plantation: coffee plants are carefully fertilized with worm humus and different types of compost. For pest control, we use biological measures that do not damage the ground or the microorganisms that nurture the coffee plantation.
